With the advent of 6G technology, many fantasy scenes will come true by 2030. One of the most noticeable changes is that 6G speeds will be 10 to 100 times faster than 5G. In terms of coverage, the 6G wireless network is no longer limited to the ground. It will realize the connection of the ground signal base station, satellite, and airborne network. Furthermore, the Degree of Intelligentialization has improved with the deep integration of AI artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Regarding positioning accuracy, the traditional GPS and cellular multi-point positioning accuracy have many limitations, and it isn’t easy to realize the accurate deployment of indoor objects. However, 6G Technology is enough to achieve high-precision positioning of Internet of Things devices. Therefore the research and development center of WiMi Hologram Cloud, Inc. (NASDAQ: WIMI) seized the opportunity.

The company further studies the integration of edge computing, robotics, artificial intelligence, digital holography, and 6G communication. Relying on the 6G network, WiMi plans to integrate digital holographic technology into communication, telemedicine, office design, entertainment games, and many other application scenarios to realize the fundamental interaction between digital holographic virtual content and users, significantly shorten the distance between information transmission and users, and establish an information transmission mode with human experience as the core.

Holographic communication service is a solution for high immersion and multi-dimensional interactive scenario data based on naked-eye holographic technology, which includes the widespread application of collection, coding, transmission, rendering, and display. It consists of the whole end-to-end process from data collection to multi-dimensional sensory data restoration, and it is a highly immersive and highly natural interaction business form.

WiMi Hologram Cloud, Inc. (NASDAQ: WIMI) studies the supporting holographic communication structures as depicted on this page which will significantly enhance the attractiveness, practicality, and efficiency of the information transmission between the two parties. Furthermore, the capture sensor can provide real-time status about the user’s face and body and it reduces the bit rate requirement on the network by applying format conversion and filtering before encoding.

Compressed holograms are transmitted to digital holographic devices through low-latency, reliable transmission networks such as 6G. The compressed hologram is decoded and processed on a digitized holographic device before being presented in an air environment. At the same time, the rendering engine considers the positioning and semantic information of the device and the rendering scene so that the hologram can be directly displayed in the air. With 6G technology, users can transfer high-performance computing to the network, thus reducing power consumption and end-to-end latency for mobile devices.

To make this process of users – computers – items – environment a perfect collaboration, the development center of WiMi Hologram Cloud is also researching and creating a multi-dimensional digital hologram that can not only propagate in real-time in the air without media but also respond to the touch of imaging. They plan to create patterns in the air using a laser light that emits ultrashort light pulses.

High-intensity beams can decompose air molecules by ionization, thus creating transient spots or plasma. This way, the image is rendered by quickly adjusting the laser focus in multiple dimensions, generating thousands of launch points or voxels per second and following them in real-time. The current application of holographic communication technology is still in the initial stage. With the continuous optimization and integration of technology, this will be a disruptive breakthrough in the computer information technology industry.

This research from WiMi Hologram Cloud turns the simple communication mode in the past to the communication mode with holographic information as the carrier which is no longer limited by the region or environment. People are “truly” gathered together, bringing new enjoyment to remote interaction.
