As artificial intelligence reshapes the startup ecosystem, many young companies are finding that building AI is only part of the challenge. Deploying production-ready systems while keeping cloud spending under control has become an increasingly difficult balancing act. Cloud infrastructure, cost optimization, and operational efficiency are now as critical to growth as product innovation itself.

Automat-it, an AWS Premier Partner and Managed Services Provider focused on startups, is betting that demand for those capabilities will continue to accelerate. The company has officially expanded into the United States, bringing its DevOps, FinOps, and AI services to North American startups as part of a broader growth strategy supported by a new Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) with Amazon Web Services worth $1.4 billion.

A Push Into the World’s Largest Startup Market

The U.S. expansion follows what Automat-it describes as a record year across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). During that period, the company reported 110% year-over-year growth while broadening its role within the AWS ecosystem.

According to the company, the expansion is designed to introduce its “startup-first” operating model to American founders looking to scale AI initiatives without allowing infrastructure costs to outpace growth. Rather than offering cloud consulting alone, Automat-it positions its engineering teams as extensions of customers’ internal organizations, supporting everything from cloud migrations and compliance to ongoing operational management.

The company currently supports more than 800 startups spanning industries including fintech, healthcare, gaming, and ecommerce.

AWS Collaboration Strengthens AI Strategy

Central to the North American launch is Automat-it’s Strategic Collaboration Agreement with AWS. The agreement is intended to generate $1.4 billion in mutual business value over the next four years while expanding access to AWS resources and technical expertise for customers.

Automat-it also strengthened its AI credentials during the past year by becoming a launch partner for AWS’ Agentic AI Services competency and one of the first partners selected under the new Anthropic reseller agreement.

The company says it has helped customers deploy production-grade agentic AI workflows, migrate infrastructure without downtime, and reduce cloud spending through FinOps initiatives.

“US Startups face pressure to innovate rapidly and launch AI products without letting cloud costs spiral out of control,” said Ziv Kashtan, CEO of Automat-it. “This is the same challenge we have helped hundreds of fast-growth companies solve already by combining expert-led cloud consultancy with hands-on engineers that act as an extension of your core team.

“We are thrilled to formally bring our expertise in AI, DevOps and FinOps to the US market alongside AWS to deliver rapid deployment, aggressive cost optimization, and production-grade AI in the biggest startup ecosystem in the world.”

Building for AI at Scale

As AI adoption continues to expand, many organizations are discovering that moving from prototypes to production requires significant operational expertise. Infrastructure must remain reliable, secure, and cost-efficient while supporting increasingly complex AI workloads.

Automat-it says its North American operations will give startups access to more than 150 engineers with expertise across agentic AI deployment, cloud migrations, DevOps, FinOps, and cloud architecture. Among the company’s fastest-growing service areas has been cloud migration, where it reported 450% growth in migration-related annual recurring revenue during 2025.

The company says its approach emphasizes rapid deployment alongside cash-flow preservation, helping startups modernize infrastructure while maintaining financial discipline.

Targeting Startup Growth

Automat-it enters the U.S. market with an existing portfolio that includes U.S.-headquartered client Penlink, as well as partnerships with companies with significant U.S. operations, such as Vanta.

Looking ahead, the company aims to work with more than 100 U.S. startups during its first 12 months operating in North America. It is now accepting customer engagements focused on cloud modernization, AI implementation, and cloud cost optimization.

The expansion reflects a broader trend across the startup ecosystem, where infrastructure partners are increasingly expected to contribute not only technical expertise but also operational efficiency as AI workloads become more resource-intensive.

For Automat-it, the U.S. launch represents both a geographic expansion and a strategic effort to bring its startup-focused cloud services to one of the world’s most competitive innovation markets. The company will showcase its offerings at AWS Summit New York on June 17, 2026, as it begins building its North American presence.
