Electronics refers to the physical science, technology and applications which deal with the transmission, movement and control of atoms, ions and free radicals in matter and atmosphere. Consumer electronics appliances include DVD players, television, video game consoles, radio, music players and CD players.
Business or professional electronics deals with equipment that is required for either commercial or official use. Some of the main electronic components used in a business or professional set ups include Computer Integrated Circuits (CIC), Digital ICs, Programmable Logic Supplies (PLS), Telephone Interconnect (TIP) and Fire Wire. A main article of business or professional electronics is radio receivers. These receivers play a vital role in receiving and picking up communications from either a computer or a cell phone tower.
Medical or health electronics consists of medical equipment such as X-ray machines, ultrasound machines, stethoscopes, CPAP machines and heart monitors. An important main article of health or medical electronics is diagnostic medical equipment. This usually consists of laboratory testing instruments and medical analyzers. Some examples of these instruments include radiographic products, digital chemistry analyzers, infrared spectrometers and balance conductors.
