USPA Nationwide Security Launches Autonomous Security Technology

Published

USPA has announced the addition of an autonomous security system to its service offering. USPA will begin offering the deployment of next-generation drones to its clients this month.

As the CEO of USPA, Dan Manning stated, “Our autonomous security technology division consists of drones to complement our manned security solutions at a fraction of the cost of supplemental personnel.” USPA’s drones can detect movement in any part of a protected area with a response time of up to 90 seconds by positioning the base station and integrating the surveillance features, which learn with each deployment via artificial intelligence.

By utilizing predetermined flights, video surveillance, and autonomously selected flight paths, learned by our artificial intelligence, to detect obstacles and intermittent sweeps, we are able to make most of our system unmanned, saving our clients money on patrol vehicles, manned guard stations, and personnel to pilot the drones where large areas need to be protected.”

USPA’s drones are capable of flying in adverse weather conditions, capturing high-definition video, and then self-charging and redeploying independently.

USPA plans to deploy its drones for the first time this week. In addition to crowd control, civil unrest, and monitoring large events, the international security firm claims that their remote autonomous security systems can also facilitate crowd control and civil unrest.
