Why M.tech is not included in IGNOU distance learning?

IGNOU is the most famous distance learning institute in India and it has numerous numbers of regional center and study center in all over the country. More than 200 academic courses are offered by IGNOU to the students at various streams like History, English, Yoga and Naturopathy, Hindi, and Economics, computer Science, Computer Applications, Political Science and Information Technology etc. The students can study the IGNOU courses from both regular learning as well as distance learning.

Reason for M.tech is not included in IGNOU distance Learning

Indira Gandhi National Open University do not provides M.tech program to the students through distance as well as correspondence education. M.tech program has many theory and practical class to the students. Minimum duration of M.tech course is 2 years and maximum duration of M.tech course is 3 years. The fees structure of M.tech courses for all streams will be available in the official portal or IGNOU provide the fees structure in the notification prospectus. The students can be able to download M.tech application form with notification prospectus from the official portal. The important instructions will be provided in the M.tech notification prospectus which needed to be followed by the students during the admission process.

M.tech notification prospectus will be available in PDF format in the executive website. The students should be advisable to take the hard copy of M.tech notification prospectus for their reference purpose. The students who did B.tech can only apply for M.tech in various streams like Information Technology, Computer Applications, Embedded system design and information, systems security, cyber forensic, automotive engineering and E- manufacturing satellite communication and Space systems, Mechanical, Networking and Telecommunication, Micro electronics and VLSI Design. Indira Gandhi National Open University is one of the well established distance learning institute and reputed university but it does not present any M.tech distance courses. Many of the advertisers said that M.tech program is unconnected with IGNOU. The students who graduated with Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with minimum 55 % marks in Electrical/ Electronics / Communication/ Information Technology/ Computer Science/ Instrumentation or Equivalent. You should study M.tech from IGNOU through regular course during the duration of the course. If you want to apply for M.tech courses in IGNOU regular course at IGNOU, then you have to apply for the application form.

Before that, you have to register your details with IGNOU and then only you can able to apply for M.tech application form. The students should register the student register form in their mobile number, name of the program, name of the student, email number, gender, father name and address, username and password in the application form. Using the username and password, you can be able to apply for M.tech application form through online. IGNOU will send the acknowledgement card to the students who have applied for IGNOU M.tech application form to IGNOU.
