Floppy disks were once utilized to store any data, but as time has passed, various new technologies have emerged, and the amount of data that has to be stored has also increased. Cloud computing has grown in popularity over the previous decade, with many corporations and individuals focusing on it. Cloud computing is essentially an internet storage infrastructure that can store large volumes of data or information. This service and cloud computing features are employed in multiple business models, and it is offered by several suppliers.

Several IT requirements have been identified, with the majority of them being met by cloud services. The advantages of cloud computing services may include on-demand availability, unique IT capabilities, flexibility, and efficiency. Any organization that chooses cloud computing to handle any number of internal or external data sets is making a wise decision.

There are three basic service models for cloud computing. Infrastructure as a service: Under this paradigm, service providers provide consumers with a set of virtualized computer resources. The customer is responsible for running and maintaining the operating system and software applications on these virtual resources. This cloud computing environment provides servers, storage, bandwidth, and other services.

Platform as a service (PaaS): PaaS companies supply both system software and computational resources. The service providers always provide the operating system that is used with this service. Customers have very limited access to physical resources and operating systems.

Software as a service (SaaS): The providers provide application software, operating systems, and virtual resources in this service model. Gmail, ERP, HP, and other services are available in the SaaS environment.

Cloud computing types include:

There are three basic forms of cloud computing:

The public cloud: The providers provide this service on a pay-per-use basis, and cloud services are available to the general public over the internet. Payment must be made on a per-usage basis for every storage unit consumed, CPU cycle, or bandwidth that a customer uses in a public cloud that is sold on-demand and can also be free. Using the public cloud can also save money on expensive services.

Private cloud: This is incredibly reliable and resources are operated alone by one firm. Instead of being available to the broader public, a private cloud is accessible via a private internal network or the internet. Users will be able to acquire extra personalization and control with this type of computer architecture.

Hybrid cloud: This cloud infrastructure is made up of more than two public or private cloud components. In hybrid cloud infrastructures, the ability to share information and applications between private and public clouds is provided. The capacity of on-premises infrastructure to scale seamlessly is the main advantage of hybrid cloud.
