Another key revenue driver? Looped allows patients to make payments directly in the app. If they can’t pay for a procedure up front, they have the option to finance it over time.

“We have a negotiated contract and relationship with a major buy-now-pay-later provider, so patients can finance treatments,” says Patel. “The majority of these clinics don’t have financing options. The clinic gets the money the next day, and then the payment provider handles the financing. So the headache is completely relieved.”

This feature is about more than just convenience for patients. As the cost of living rises and many people attempt to reduce expenditures where they can, some clinics have lost clients. Offering financing might help win them back.

“It’s helping clinics have another opportunity,” Patel explains. “Let’s say 4 out of 10 patients can’t afford to pay everything up front. Now the clinic doesn’t have to lose them. We can give them a financing option through the app, so that way, the clinic is retaining that person.”

Looped helps clinics build revenue by marketing to existing clients, but it also helps them reduce costs by streamlining clinic operations. Instead of juggling different programs for sales, marketing, and patient communication, clinic staff can handle everything within the app. “Several clinics are using the app entirely as their point of sale now,” says Patel.
