Dr. Zaher Merhi, the Medical Director of Rejuvenating Fertility Center (RFC), Welcomes Dr. Nicole Browne

Dr. Zaher Merhi is the founder of Rejuvenating Fertility Center (RFC), the country’s first in vitro fertilization (IVF) Center to utilize non-conventional fertility methods and the first to use ten different types of IVF. He has worked in the fertility field for over twenty years prior to founding RFC, and currently serves as its medical director. 

Dr. Merhi is also currently a Professor at SUNY Downstate University and Maimonides Medical Center. His extensive training and faculty appointments include the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, the NYU School of Medicine, and the University of Vermont. 

Now Dr. Merhi and the staff at RFC are joined by another brilliant mind in the realm of fertility.

“I am thrilled to announce that Dr. Nicole Browne has joined RFC’s Connecticut location,” says Dr. Merhi. “Before joining us, Dr. Browne was working for approximately five years at Kindbody in Manhattan, New York City. She brings her 15 years of expertise to RFC.”

He adds that her patients describe her as compassionate, intelligent, and caring. One patient wrote, “Dr. Brown remembers my name, where I grew up, and what my goals are. It seems simple – but she treats me like a person and listens to me at every stage.” 

Dr. Browne is double board-certified in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) and in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OBGYN). She earned her medical degree from Yale School of Medicine and her bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College. She then completed her OBGYN residency at Yale in New Haven, Connecticut, and her REI fellowship at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. She has 15 years of experience in REI, and she has previously worked at New England Fertility and at Kindbody. 

Dr Browne is offering free 20-minute video consultations from January 1st, 2024, until March 31st, 2024, for patients all over the world. Patients in the New England area can visit her in person; and those located elsewhere can take advantage of their free consultation virtually.

Dr. Browne, distinguished as a board-certified reproductive endocrinologist, possesses an extensive academic and professional background in her field. She achieved an undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Dartmouth College, graduating cum laude. Following this, Dr. Browne earned her medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine in 2002. Her postgraduate training culminated in a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the National Institutes of Health, where she honed her specialized skills.

Dr. Browne’s professional focus lies in providing empathetic and individualized care in infertility, emphasizing a commitment to assisting couples in realizing their aspirations of parenthood. Her expertise is not only limited to clinical practice but extends to academia as well, evidenced by her authorship of numerous scholarly articles in the field.
