Interview with Bitswift: we have bootstrapped a business behind our blockchain

Q: What can you tell us about your currency?
Bitswift is much more than just a currency, it is a blockchain network and a company.  The currency is just one feature of our network which is promoted by our Company “Bitswift Technology Solutions”.

Q: What type of services exist or can we expect in the future?”
Our network currently operates as a peer to peer value transfer protocol.  It is also being used to supply proof of existence and digital notary type services.  In the future you will see Bitswift in businesses at the point of sale level helping merchants and consumers save on transaction fees.

Q: Are you targeting the consumer or Business Market? If so, how does the business model work?”
Both!  We literally have bootstrapped a business behind our blockchain so that we can promote it and connect it properly and legally to reality.
It is interesting to see how we can use our own blockchain to provide a sort of performance benchmark for our company, as well as ensure our company is acting in the better interest of what its customers want, and not in the better interest of company profits.  If customers are happy, your company will be profitable as a by product.  So our business model is simple, keep happy customers and keep making more of them.

Q: What are the details around the most important project you’re working on currently?
The current and most important project we have been working on, yet the most seemingly boring , is setting up our business properly.  We have properly setup so that our blockchain can interact and interface for real world use through our technology company.  Decentralized networks need entrance and exit points and we have established that base.

Q: How does the competition compare?
If you mean competition as in other blockchains, I am not sure I agree we are competing with each other at all.  Through our technology company and through our network we are actually bringing people into other blockchain networks and promoting them.

Q: The market has many players, what differentiates you?”
The difference between Bitswift and many others is that we have a technology company promoting, supporting, and installing.  Bitswift already makes the technology decisions on behalf of its customers, so when we see an opportunity for them to create value, we want to ensure they implement the solution.  Bitswift has already established client relationships built on trust which can help ease people into a trust-less ecosystem.

Q: could you tell us more about your achievements in this?”
We have two moving billboards on the roads 24/7 through our company vehicles sporting the Bitswift brand.   Wrapping our vehicles and getting our brand on the road was a great achievement.

Q: could you tell us more about where you see Blockchain technology in the future?”
Everywhere… literally.  It will run the future, so humans wont have to.  From automation to insurance to legal and health care and government, its really crazy how disruptive blockchain technology is.  I firmly believe my grandchildren will work for a network and not for a man in a suit.  We are most likely already living in a network though, so maybe my point is irrelevant.
