What is E-Governance Technology? E-Governance is a powerful new concept. It is the technology governing the way you work. The concept was created by Jon Katzenbach and Alastair Sweeny. They developed an eight-point checklist to guide the development of new enterprise application technologies.

The eight points cover four primary areas: performance measurement, engineering services, regulatory frameworks, and standards. The first three topics alone are responsible for the vast majority of technological developments that have occurred since the mid-1990s. Without these things, governments and businesses could not operate smoothly or efficiently. E-Governance enables companies and organizations to measure their progress, in addition to helping them define clearly their missions and target goals. It also enables them to determine the resources they have available to them to meet those objectives.

E-Governance provides a unique solution to how businesses can better manage their processes and activities. Through this technology, businesses are able to monitor and measure their capacity to deliver. They are also enabled to determine how well they are meeting their objectives. The combination of these two core capabilities allows them to make the most of the resources available to them without having to spend excessive amounts of time and money.

The government is responsible for many things, such as maintaining national parks, maintaining the HVAC industry, and maintaining water systems. E-Governance can help each of these endeavors by making it easier to track, monitor, and evaluate their performance. For example, a business can make it easier to determine which areas of the industry need improvement by creating metrics that relate to each area. Those areas can then be analyzed with E-Governance technology.

This technology also makes it easier to coordinate among the various authorities within the government. For example, a regional head may have data from his office that is not available from headquarters. By running queries on the dashboard, he can get access to information that is not normally made available. Using this capability, the head is able to better coordinate his efforts with other regional heads, departments, and even the White House.

E-Governance provides businesses with improved performance feedback, especially as it pertains to customer satisfaction. Because the technology provides aggregated data, it helps to analyze customer data in a more complete manner. This allows businesses to identify problems before they become large problems. This also allows them to focus their attention where it is needed, making customer satisfaction a top priority.
