Start keeping an eye out for upcoming tech events in August. The month of September is when manufacturers are likely to release new hardware devices, software applications, mobile devices, and other electronic gadgets. The best time of the year to buy all these items is in the fall. In September, you might not be able to get them at the price they will be available in stores in the winter, and the summer, well, that’s too much of a good thing, you know. But fall is right around the corner.

A couple of tech events worth attending include the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) and the Virtual World Expo (VWX). Both of these annual shows boast a huge attendance every year. The Consumer Electronics Show, or CES, has been known for years as a venue where major corporations can show off their latest wares. Last year’s edition was no exception, featuring a parade of high-tech gadgets, computers, and other electronics that made the event well worth coming to. Although the show does run over a long weekend, it doesn’t feel like a rush, and that is what makes it so fun. You can easily leave the exhibition center, still, see something great to check out, and get home feeling refreshed and full of energy.

The Virtual World Expo, or VWX, on the other hand, runs over three days instead of the traditional two-week convention circuit. It is more relaxed, yet still features a number of exhibits, demos, and special presentations by some of the biggest names in technology. As well as exhibiting a number of new and used electronics, you can also attend interactive exhibits, interactive workshops, and learn from experts. Of course, the most exciting part of the entire event is the opportunity to network with others in the industry.

While there are many tech events you can attend in September, another fun event that you should definitely consider is the U.S. debut of the Ford Focus. The company is releasing two new models this year, and they hope to attract attention from car shoppers with the Focus ST and the Limited Edition. The idea is to create a car that is truly inspirational, practical, and fun, while still remaining true to the design principles that have made the company famous. If you are attending a U.S. event featuring this particular vehicle, you should certainly come together with a friend to share in the fun.

Finally, the one event that you should attend in the spring is the annual Mobile Nations Mobile Awards, which is organized by the trucking trade magazine Truck Trend. Mobile Nation is a week-long celebration of innovation and the future of mobility that take place between April and June. The best way to get into the spirit is to attend the virtual conference that takes place on the first day of the month. In it, you can hear from some of the most respected entrepreneurs and executives in the industry. You can also attend a number of panels, including one on virtual reality, and one on corporate identity design.
